Kings&Foxes: Art Shoots Clothes

Kings & Foxes is the new, hip way of interpreting fashion and art. The concept is to make clothes out of shoots. This young team of talented individuals shot 3 models around Berlin and then selected 1 photo of each model to be transformed by the artist Daniel St-Amant in a digital image personalized by the artist’s style.

By wearing one of these t-shirts you can be a travelling gallery and done one of the artist’s digitally painted t-shirts which capture stylish aesthetics of young city dwellers….talk about making a statement! Currently there are 3 different designs to chose from. The T-shirts are made of bamboo fabric and therefore amazingly cozy, soft and long lasting.

I must say, wearing this t-shirt around L.A. while feeling the Grammy”s vibe & style everywhere made heads turn and combined with jeans , black boots and leather jacket was the perfect street style.

Elke P. visits the Toronto Interior Design Show

Unique Event Design….a combination of inspiration that can be found wherever and whenever…it can be found in our daily activities like watching the color scheme of a sunset, listening to the sounds of a new musical track or simply sitting on a terrace and engage in some people watching why studying (and commenting) people’s outfits, hairstyles, carry-ons, etc….(we all love doing that don’t we!:))

Me personally, as an event organizer and designer am always on the look out for my best next idea and therefore like to dedicate my morning ritual of waking up with a cup of coffee on the couch to the research of the newest trends around the globe with the magical tool called the internet….:) (let’s “google it”:))

I often find my inspiration during trade fairs and art exhibitions aswell like today , when I visited the”Interior Design Show” in Toronto, Canada’s largest contemporary design fair where each year world-renown designers and architects participate as keynote speakers and create inspiring exhibits. Together with my sister (a Toronto based interior designer (www.nieuw.ca)) and our little cute assistant Wolfe (at 8 months he is well-opinionated and loves everything flurry, fluffy and shiny!!).

Browsing around the stands that varied from kitchen&bathroom design to fireplaces, light fixtures, etc….the product that catched my eye the most was the award-winning design of Dutch based company Flux Chair. It looks like a giant envelope and turns into a designer chair, one craftily cut piece of sustainable polypropylene, available in eight modern colours, zero tools necessary. Simple … And a great decoration piece for events where spaces need to be transformed in minutes , without disturbing any guests with piles of moving chairs & furniture….elegant, modern and FUN!! And, according to Wolfe they are very comfy aswell!!

Organizing a nature themed event? Adding some design pieces of TROPICSNORTH will guarantee a success and are a definte WOW FACTOR…These new Living Walls and Bio Panels are free standing and a perfect tool for corporate branding…..

Last August, Elke P. coordinated the styling and model selection for the photoshoot and video registration of the Mangusta ’72 & ’105 (for Brochure, website, exhibition materials, etc.).

It turned out to be an amazing day and experience during which Elke P. worked along with great professionals …. and the result is clear…let these images allow you to travel into the world of luxury, comfort, & innovation…the world of Mangusta.

This weekend Elke P. Weddings was present during the exhibition “Percorso degli Sposi” held at Beach Club in Versilia: www.beachclubversilia.com.

During the 2-day activity Elke P. showcased a selection of 4 Wedding Themes to inspire future brides and grooms and to help start their dream voyage towards the most romantic day of their lives.
